So I thought because I did a May update way back when I’d update you on my July; which was much more eventful I must say!
My favourite part of July was split between the term 2 holidays and going to Wellington; I guess we went to wellington because of the holidays so they kind of join? 😉 The holidays were much needed I must say (and much wanted now), and I managed to get very ill in the last two weeks; I did go to school on the last day to sit four exams, but I don’t exaclty remember a hell of a lot of it haha!
If you don’t already know, Wellington is the capital of New Zealand (even though it isnt the biggest city which is Auckland) and is incredibly beautiful! It really is my favourite NZ city – sorry Christchurch!! I think the smaller size certainly appeals to me, but equally so does the amoutn of trees and greenery within the actual city, and the fact that you can walk everywhere. You literally only to walk for ten minutes to get from the city centre to the bush full of native birds! A rather brilliant experience I must say! I have wanted to get back to Wellington ever since going in 2016, and I am already itching to return!! 😉
July was also the month in which I got my full New Zealand drivers licence! This means I can drive anytime, anywhere (literally anywhere in the world!!!), with anyone as my passenger; I tested this out by driving a couple of friends back to my house after going out for dinner with them to celebrate! 😀 I must say they were brilliant passengers, and were very calming when it got so foggy we could barely see!!
July has been a big month in terms of planning for next year, with a heap of school work piling up alongside applications and prospectus books. If you read my post about planning for next year, you’ll know it is a turbulent and big topic to me at the moment; we can all have a big laugh next year when I have finally sussed it out! 😉
Probably the biggest blogging point was that my blog turned two, and that it has been a year since I went self-hosted! I’ve learnt a lot in those two years, and a heap in the past year, and honestly am so grateful I did take the plunge two years ago and decide to create my blog! 😀
How was your July? And do you agree that its crazy its already August??? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Until next time,
P.s. would appreciate any Q&A questions for an upcoming post (you can comment here, email me (look at my contact page), or dm me or comment on Instagram) 😀
