Hey all, and welcome to blogmas 2018!! I honestly can’t believe it’s my second blogmas already, albeit drastically different from last years haha! 😉 (You can find the posts under my blogmas tab).
As I did in 2016 and 2017, I like to start of with a post dedicated to what Christmas means to me, because ultiamtely that’s what blogmas is about: celebrating Christmas for 24 days up to Christmas day itself! I’m so excited to share my blogmas posts with you, the collabs, and the updates in between 🙂
Christmas to me always means lots of food, laughter, catching up with family, and very hot weather! Honestly Christmas in New Zealand is synonymous with either moggy drizzle, or a bright, hot day. I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of hot weather, and have earnestly tried to swap Christmases with a friend going to Boston for Christmas!! I’d much rather the snow and cold haha. Still, I love a Kiwi Christmas, how laid back it is, and how jovial the whole thing is.
This year my brother is the one travelling around Christmas (internally crying already) so that’ll be the strangest thing – at least last year it was me away! Although I did get food poisoning on Christmas eve, and was still sick Christmas day, which wasn’t ideal, but my exchange family in Germany were super accommodating about it, and it was still a very special Christmas! 😀
What does Christmas mean to you? What do you look forward to? Are you having a Winter or Summer Christmas, and which do you prefer? I’d love to know!
